Amazonite is a stone named after the Amazon River and is a fairly rare variation of feldspar. It is famous for its blue-green colour reminiscent of the green foliage of South America’s tropical rain forests. The specimen for sale has both flat and rough faces that showcase its bluish-green natural colours quite well.
The tmaterial also sometimes has a white banded like colour distribution. The odd piece may have small specular Smokey Quartz like inclusions else small traces of black specular inclusions.This is a very interesting piece with much variation for show. Note: This product is fairly brittle and must be handled with care.
